Food Plan and Grocery List, Week of 101610

I did my planning and shopping in nearly one swoop today. Well, really in multiple swoops but because they went so quickly, it really felt like one good swoop.

The line-up:

  • Oxtail and Barley Soup
  • Slow Cooker Black Bean Soup
The oxtail and barley soup was suggested by my friend in Chicago. While she texted me loose instructions, I went ahead and Googled a recipe. Remember, I'm not at all creative and didn't want to goof this vat of meals up. The Black Bean Soup showed up in my latest copy of Cooking Club Magazine, so figured I'd "go for the gusto" as my dad would say.
