The Spicy Southwestern Corn recipe calls for a poblano pepper. By now I've bought a couple and they look sort of like a cross between a giant jalapeno and a green bell pepper.
Slicing the pepper in half, the pepper isn't as thick as a bell pepper but has seeds looking very much like a bell pepper.
When seeded, the pepper halves look sort of like the face of the dude in Scary Movie.
